THE KING'S MOST EXCELLENT MAJESTY IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS there was this day read at the Board a letter to the Lord President of the Council from the Right Honourable Malcolm MacDonald, one of His Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State, transmitting the Draft of Letters Patent amending the Letters Patent of the 14th day of February, 1917, constituting the office of Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies:
HIS MAJESTY, having taken the same into consideration, was pleased, by and with the advice of His Privy Council, to approve thereof, and to order, as it is hereby ordered, that the Right Honourable Malcolm MacDonald, one of His Majesty's Prin- cipal Secretaries of State, do cause a Warrant to be prepared for His Majesty's Royal Signature, for passing under the Great Seal Letters Patent conformable to the said draft (which is hereunto annexed).
